Based on the memorandum of cooperation with Baghdad Al-Ahli Hospital, today, several students from the fourth stage of the Department of Medical Device Technology Engineering at the college, under the supervision of the department’s teachers (M.M. Ali Qutaiba Abdel-Razzaq and M.M. Omar Abdel-Hussein Abdel-Razzaq) made a scientific field visit. The hospital provides the opportunity for our dear students to explore the depths of the specialty through field observation and access to the hospital’s various departments and facilities, from the laboratory, which contains various testing devices for blood, viruses, cross-matching, and other laboratory devices. It was explained to the radiology department where the helical scanner was fixed, and Mobile X-ray devices and the operator needs of Radiation protection procedures were taken, after which we moved to the catheter surgery department, where a direct interventional operation was witnessed and clarification and explanation by the specialist doctor to the ophthalmology department and viewing optical examination and laser devices for small, simple eye operations.
