Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Falhi, Head of the Digital Media Department at Al-Mansour University College, participated in the scientific conference organized by the Iraqi Scientific Academy on protecting the Arabic language on the occasion of International Arabic Language Day, on the morning of Friday, the eighth of this month. The conference was opened by Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al Yassin, President of the Academy, in the presence of numerous professors and researchers specializing in the Arabic language. Several research papers on protecting the integrity of the Arabic language and correcting its vocabulary in light of the technical and media developments the world is witnessing were presented at the conference. Dr. Muhammad Falhi presented a brief proposal in commenting on the research on the necessity of organizing creative media programs sponsored by the Scientific Academy to consolidate the Arabic language in the minds of new generations and confront dialects and terminology that distort the aesthetics of the Arabic language, by taking advantage of digital audio and image technologies and cooperation between professors of media and the Arabic language. The conference included necessary research and speeches by several senior professors specializing in the Arabic language about the language of the Holy Quran and its magic in souls, as well as correcting some of its words.
