Al-Mansour University College participated in the meeting held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in coordination with the British Council on work mechanisms to establish accredited examination centers for IELTS exams in Iraqi universities, which was held in Baghdad - Yarmouk International Hotel on Monday 7-31-2023. The College was represented at the meeting by the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs (Prof. Dr. Hassan Reda Al-Najjar) and the Director of the Information and Communication Technology Center (Dr. Mahmoud Shuker Mahmoud). The meeting opened with a welcoming speech from the Country Director of the British Council, Mr. Jam Petry, then followed by the speech of the deputy minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahad, who explained the necessity of completing this project due to the importance of his work and considering it as one of the requirements for applying for postgraduate studies for the next academic year. After that, the directors of the Examinations and Business Development Department at the British Council gave a detailed presentation of the center's work mechanisms and the Council's plan for the next year in terms of development and the matters that must be provided in order to obtain approval from the Council in order to develop. The workshop concluded with questions and inquiries from the attendees from Iraqi public and private universities. It is noteworthy that Al-Mansour University College is one of the first universities to be interested in establishing internationally accredited exam centers, and today it includes three active centers, which are the TOEFL & GRE exam center, the Pearson VUE exam center, and the CertiPort exam center, and it strives to open up On the rest of the sober international institutions
