The Department of Digital Media at Al-Mansour University College organized a symposium entitled
(Artificial Intelligence techniques in news work)
This was on Saturday, the twenty-first of October, in the presence of Professor Dr. Sabah Kallow, Dean of the College, his assistants, and a number of department heads, faculty, and students.
Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Muhammad Ali from the Department of Digital Media and lecturer Dr. Mustafa Abbas Al-Bayati from the Department of Media at Imam Al-Kadhim College spoke at the symposium. The two lecturers explained the importance of using artificial intelligence applications and techniques in media work, especially in news production and broadcasting. They stressed that these technologies represent a new revolution in knowledge, information, and media and will represent a broad field of study and media research. It is important to benefit from them and employ them scientifically and objectively to serve society. Dr. Mohamed Falhi, Head of the Digital Media Department, moderated the symposium.
