Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sabah Muhammad Kallow, Dean of Al-Mansour University College, the Medical Device Technology Engineering Department held on Sunday, 3/10/2024, a scientific symposium entitled (Artificial Intelligence in Medical Devices) and an exhibition of medical devices in cooperation with several companies and hospitals, where the participating companies presented medical products. A variety of different specializations, such as ultrasound devices, operations, laboratory equipment, and other latest medical devices and supplies.
This symposium and exhibition came within a series of applied scientific lectures and field tours held by our college to contribute to developing the applied reality for students to prepare engineering cadres for the labor market. Dr. Nour Muftin, Head of the Medical Instruments Technology Engineering Department, confirmed that these applied scientific seminars and exhibitions have achieved many benefits for students, as the students learned about international companies that manufacture medical devices through the participating companies and the latest medical devices and technologies and how they work in health institutions and hospitals.
