On National Tree Planting Day, a volunteer campaign was held to plant trees and roses in the gardens and corridors of Al-Mansour University College.
On the morning of Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Al-Mansour University College witnessed the national afforestation celebration, where the dean of the college, its council, its teachers, its employees, and its students participated in planting palm trees, olives, and roses in its gardens.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sabah Muhammad Kallow, said that the campaign included planting rose seedlings, palm seedlings, olive trees, and several ornamental trees that were planted by a team of students and teachers. The Dean of the College added that this campaign is meant to introduce the environmental importance of planting plants, trees, and shrubs in general. Evergreen, in particular, improves and softens the surrounding atmosphere and reduces pollution, indicating that the campaign aims to encourage and cultivate the spirit of initiative in students' hearts and provide them with the skills of planting trees and working within one team.
