Cooperation agreement with the University of Technology to activate the Cisco Networking Academy

Cisco Regional Networking Academy at Al-Mansour University College has signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Technology, aiming to open a local Cisco Academy within the Computer Engineering Department at the University of Technology and provide its services and specialized courses to all university students and graduates. This cooperation comes within the framework of enhancing technical education and expanding the technological knowledge base among students in Iraqi universities. This agreement will enable students at the University of Technology to benefit from specialized training programs provided by Cisco Academy in various fields, which contributes to developing their skills in the fields of networks, information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and many other technical paths that keep pace with technological developments in this field. It is noteworthy that the number of local Cisco academies operating under the umbrella of the Mansour Regional College Academy has reached 25 academies throughout Iraq, from governmental and private universities to ministries and private sector institutions, all of which work to prepare a generation armed with knowledge and keeping pace with the latest technological developments. The agreement was signed under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghaban, and the Assistant Dean of Al-Mansour University College for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University of Technology for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, the Academy Official, Dr. Amir Musa Thuwaini, and Dr. Laith Baqir Salman, the Academy’s Certified Trainer. Al-Mansour College was represented in the signing by the Director of the Cisco Regional Academy, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Shuker Mahmoud, and the University of Technology was represented in the signing by the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan.
