Community Security in the Prospect of Contemporary Challenges

Under this title, two lecturers from Al-Mansour University College / Department of Digital Media participated:
Digital Media Department Rapporteur, Mr. Qasim Mustafa Abdullah, and lecturer, M.M. Omar Adel Ibrahim, with a joint research paper entitled
"Identity Divisions and Their Impact on Community Security"
in the scientific symposium held at the Center for Strategic and International Studies at the University of Baghdad under the title Community Security in Light of Contemporary Challenges on Sunday, 10/27/2024.
The symposium was held under the patronage and attendance of the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. "Baha Ibrahim Kazim" and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Taresh Abdul-Ridha, Director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies and some guests and researchers in community security affairs.
The researchers addressed the aspects of community security in their research papers, including (psychological, economic, social, political, and media). The symposium focused on four main axes: 1- Community security: concept and manifestations 2- Challenges of Iraqi community security 3- The impact of the regional and international environment on Iraqi community security 4- Strategies for achieving Iraqi community security.
It is worth noting that the participating researchers were from various universities and government centers, as the only private college was "Al-Mansour University College" in attendance, as part of its efforts to support scientific research and Iraqi society in all scientific and practical fields.
At the end of the symposium, certificates of appreciation were distributed by the head of the center to the ladies and gentlemen researchers participating in the symposium.
