In implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the auspices of the Deanship of Al-Mansour University College, the Department of Digital Media at Al-Mansour University College organized an awareness seminar on "The Role of the Media in Combating Drug Abuse" on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Falhi, Head of the Department, attended the seminar. Mr. Qassim Mustafa Abdullah, Department Rapporteur, spoke at the workshop, explaining the role of young media professionals in spreading awareness and guidance regarding the phenomenon of drugs and encouraging targeted media initiatives to combat this dangerous phenomenon. The seminar was moderated by Professor Dr. Ahmed Faisal Rashk and attended by a number of department faculty and students. A discussion on the topic took place between the lecturer and the students present.
