Al-Mansour University College has announced a new achievement to its scientific record following its advancement in the AD Scientific Index 2026 ranking. The college ranked 40th among Iraqi universities and 7,799th globally out of 24,539 academic institutions representing over 221 countries worldwide, in a new affirmation of its growing research presence and academic excellence.
The AD Scientific Index is considered one of the most important global indicators that relies on factual data to evaluate the academic performance of educational institutions and researchers. It is based on precise criteria, including the H-index (to measure scientific impact), the i10-index (to estimate research dissemination), and the number of scientific citations, which reflect the institution's standing in the academic community, as well as performance levels in various disciplines and a special ranking for rapidly advancing modern universities.
This year's ranking included 125 Iraqi universities (both public and private) and two research institutions, with 55 faculty members registered from Al-Mansour University College.
The College Deanship affirmed that this advancement reflects the culmination of the continuous research efforts by the college and its faculty. It called on all faculty members to register in the global index to broaden the participation base and improve the college's future ranking, in line with its vision toward scientific leadership and academic excellence at both the local and international levels.
