Al-Mansour University College Organizes a Scientific Symposium on the University Environment and Its Role in Combating Intellectual Extremism

As part of its scientific programs aimed at promoting moderate thought and instilling the values of tolerance, Al-Mansour University College organized a scientific symposium titled "The University Environment and Its Impact on Combating Intellectual Extremism." The symposium was presented by Prof. Dr. Abdulghaffar Abduljabbar, a faculty member in the Department of English Language.

The symposium was attended by the College Deanship, the Head of the English Language Department (Assistant Professor Dr. Rafid Abdulameer Ghaib), along with several heads of scientific departments, faculty members, and students. The event addressed intellectual and educational themes focusing on the importance of the university environment in enhancing intellectual awareness and preventing manifestations of extremism by spreading a culture of dialogue, intellectual openness, and developing a spirit of belonging and responsibility among students.

In his contribution, the lecturer emphasized that the university represents an intellectual and cognitive incubator capable of building a balanced personality, contributing to the formation of a conscious generation that understands the importance of coexistence and renouncing violence. He pointed to the role of academic curricula and student activities in disseminating the values of moderation and rationality.
