The Law Department at Al-Mansour University College Organizes a Scientific Symposium on the Impact of Green Jobs in Combating Unemployment and Promoting Sustainable Development

In the presence of the Head of the Law Department, Prof.Dr. Raad Fager Fateh, and with the participation of heads of scientific departments, the Law Department at Al-Mansour University College organized a specialized scientific symposium titled "The Impact of Green Jobs in Eliminating Unemployment." This event was part of the college's program aimed at supporting sustainable development issues and promoting awareness of the importance of transitioning to a green economy.
The symposium was presented by Lecturer Dr.Imad Obaid and Assist.Lec.Waleed Mohammed, and moderated by Mr. Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Abdullah. The symposium addressed multiple themes focusing on the importance of creating job opportunities in environmentally friendly roles, their contribution to supporting the transition to renewable energy, and reducing youth unemployment rates, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the UN 2030 Agenda.
The speakers emphasized that promoting green education and empowering national talents in environmental fields contribute to building a sustainable economy that keeps pace with global developments and preserves natural resources for future generations.
