Al-Mansour University College Organizes a Scientific Seminar on Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, Attended by the Dean and his Scientific Associate

Al-Mansour University College organized a scientific seminar titled "Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism," attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed , the Scientific Associate Dean, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman, and a number of department heads, faculty members, and students.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the phenomenon of extremism as one of the most serious intellectual and social challenges facing contemporary societies. It also reviewed the educational and scientific methods capable of confronting it from an academic and humanitarian perspective.

The lecturers at the seminar addressed the intellectual, social, and psychological causes that lead to extremism. They highlighted the importance of universities' role in promoting the values of tolerance, dialogue, and moderation through curricula and purposeful student activities.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Kallo affirmed that Al-Mansour University College pays great attention to instilling intellectual awareness in students and combating extremist ideas through education and enlightenment. He praised the efforts of the academic staff in supporting intellectual security and serving the community.
