Al-Mansour University College: Post-Victory Iraq Declares the "Battle of Awareness," Placing Scientific Literature at the Forefront of State Building

Under the patronage of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs and Head of the Supreme Council of Scientific Societies, Prof. Dr. Haider Abed Dhahad, and in celebration of the major victories achieved by the Security Forces, the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), and the Peshmerga, Al-Mansour University College (MUC) hosted the Exhibition of Scientific Books and Intellectual Products of Iraqi and Arab Scientific Societies. The event saw broad participation from publishing houses as well as academic and cultural institutions.

This event underscored that Iraq's battle did not end on the battlefield but has extended to the realm of awareness and knowledge. It highlighted the scientific book as a fundamental pillar in building a modern state, establishing intellectual sovereignty, and reinforcing the role of scientific elites in shaping the country's future.

The exhibition witnessed the presence and direct supervision of the Deanship of Al-Mansour University College, represented by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mohammed Kallow, with active support and participation from the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman. This involvement falls within the framework of supporting scientific activities and solidifying partnerships with scientific societies and academic institutions.

During the event, the Deanship emphasized that hosting such exhibitions reflects the College’s commitment to its academic and national role in the post-victory phase. It also demonstrates MUC's dedication to serving as an active platform for disseminating knowledge, promoting a culture of scientific research, and building societal awareness.
