Cisco Academy at Al-Mansour University College achieves a distinguished regional and international accomplishment in the Cisco Networking Academy EMEA NetAcad Cup Learn-A-Thon 2026 competition.

The academy achieved 13th place in the Europe, Middle East, and Central Asia (EMEA & CIS) region, in a highly competitive environment that included hundreds of participating academies. This achievement is the result of active participation in several vital courses offered by the Cisco Networking Academy program, including: Introduction to Cybersecurity, Internet of Things and Digital Transformation, Modern Artificial Intelligence, Digital Safety, Networking Fundamentals, Industrial Networks, and the Network Technician track. Dr. Mahmoud Shuker Mahmoud, the academy's director, explained that Al-Mansour Academy scored a total of 24,258 points across the various courses, a clear indicator of academic excellence and the high level of engagement from students from various Iraqi universities. These students benefited from these educational courses to enhance their skills, reinforcing the academic partnerships that Al-Mansour Academy provides with various Iraqi universities and institutions. This aims to place Iraqi universities in advanced rankings that reflect their scientific capabilities, the excellence of their students, and their high passion for learning and keeping pace with development. This achievement reflects the advanced position that the Cisco Academy at Al-Mansour College occupies at the regional and international levels, and demonstrates its continued commitment to training students according to the latest global programs in the fields of networks and modern technologies.
