In cooperation with the Deanship of Al-Mansour University College, the Iraqi University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Translationheld a scientific symposium entitled ((Translating Visual Speech - Culture and Reception)), in which a lecturer present by Dr. Laila Muhammad Ali, a teacher at our college. The symposium addressed the importance of the visual discourse of image and color in all cultural facilities, whether sending or receiving, particularly the youth’s reception of the stereotypical image in light of visual globalization. What distinguished the symposium was the interaction of students in the translation department, asking many vital questions that indicate the interest of university youth and their interpretation of visual images.
