A workshop entitled The Risks of Corruption, in cooperation with the Integrity Commission and the Department of Private University Education

On Thursday, 12-14-2023, Al-Mansour University College hosted a workshop in its conference hall held by the Federal Integrity Commission, the Department of Relations with Non-Governmental Organizations, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Private Education Department. Mr. Khaled Mahmoud Salem, Director of Relations at the Federal Integrity Commission, addressed two main axes for studying corruption risks. The first is to study the impact of corruption on the private sector, where the effects and manifestations of corruption in the private sector were addressed, as well as the economic effects of corruption. The second is to study the role of government mechanisms in combating corruption. The concepts and importance of transparency—integrity and accountability in the private sector - were also addressed. The attendees discussed some of the problems that obstruct the work of the private sector and their relationship to corruption, and the workshop concluded with some results and recommendations that will be submitted to the Commission for discussion.

The workshop was moderated by Dr. Baraa Abdel Qader Waheed, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the Department of Private University Education, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The symposium was attended by a number of deans of private colleges, assistant deans for administrative affairs, and several university professors.
