Al-Mansour University College continues to hold seminars, workshops, and scientific and cultural events, and in partnership with all governmental and non-governmental institutions. The Center for Research and Studies at Al-Mansour University College held a scientific symposium on Monday, February 19, 2024, entitled (The General Population Census in Iraq).

1- Prof. Dr. Mahdi Al-Alaq, Iraqi Society of Statisticians President.
2- Prof. Dr. Diaa Awad, Head of the Statistics and Geographic Systems Authority.
Prof. Dr. Khaled Dhari chaired the session.
The symposium dealt with the topic of the population census and the preparations being made to reach serious and realistic steps. This comes from the census's importance in creating human development and plans for building dear Iraq. The attendees discussed a set of basic topics related to the census.
After the symposium, Professor Dr. Sabah Muhammad Kallow, Dean of the College, presented the college shield to the distinguished lecturers of the symposium, crowning it with expressions of thanks and appreciation for coming to our college and presenting a vital and fundamental topic that has long been awaited. Al-Mansour College is the first college to hold a scientific symposium on the population census.
