Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Falahi, Head of Digital Media Department at Mansour University College, gave a cultural lecture in the monthly cultural capital of Al-Jawadin Library.The lecture was titled (Intellectual and Media Outcomes in the Face of Terrorism and Extremism) amidst the presence of professors and researchers organized by Sheikh Dr. Emad Al-Kazemi, the librarian and the supervisor of the esteemed council.After the seminar, there was a talk with Sheikh Al-Kazemi about the history of the Al-Jawadin Library and its founder, the late Mr. Heba Al-Din Al-Shahrastani (died in 1996) and what it contains intellectual and heritage treasures of books, magazines and newspapers that should be of the attention of researchers and intellectuals, and the library is located in the corridors of the holy Kadhimiyah threshold.The monthly cultural council holds its seminar every Thursday at the beginning of the month, and it has been held since 2008 to now 139 sessions, usually attended by thinkers, researchers, intellectuals and media, and presents to the council diverse intellectual and cultural topics.The librarian invited students of media to visit this distinctive library and navigate its shelves full of science, knowledge and culture, whose books were classified according to the (Dewi) decimal rating and then listed both on paper and electronically to facilitate access to information by researchers.
