Open Access Resources

Free Open Access to digital information
Free open access to digital information sources is closely linked to the global network of information or the so-called Internet. The concept of free access is intellectual production in all its forms (printed, audio and visual), and its types (books, periodicals, university theses, and conference research) published on the Internet and available to beneficiaries free of charge without conditions or restrictions economic or legal.
The importance of free access has increased as a result of those problems that libraries faced while subscribing to electronic journals; These libraries have suffered greatly from the high subscription prices in these periodicals, which are often restricted by the desires and whims of the publishers. Data that includes the authors’ research and works and made available free of charge to the public
