Worked as Consultant at a prominent consulting office, “Al Bayaty Consultancy Office, Abu Dhabi, and UAE”. Tasks involved, the structural design of structures such as multistory and high rise commercial centers, modern hotels, office and residential buildings, underground and over ground water tanks, and so forth.

Worked as a consultant at a prominent consulting office, National Consulting Bureau" Tripoli, Libya. Tasks involved, , the structural design and consultancy work for high rise residential and office buildings, power stations, large commercial and elevated and ground reinforced concrete water tanks, radio and television broadcasting towers, industrial buildings, hydraulic structures highway bridges, and commercial harbors .

Worked as Assistant Professor, College of Engineering, Tripoli, Libya. Main tasks involved, among other activities: Teaching the following Courses: “Advanced Reinforced Concrete Design”, “Theory of Elasticity”, “Advanced mechanics of materials” and “Advanced Analysis of Structures” .During the same period, worked on part time basis as chief structural designer and consultant in some local Libyan engineering.

• Structural design of a large number of multi-story buildings, such as governmental buildings (six ministerial buildings currently present and many other governmental structures). Also a large number of local buildings (residential buildings, hotels shopping centers and so forth).
• Structural design of a number of concrete grain silos, currently present. Structural design of Um Qasr grain silo jetty for berthing of commercial ships during the eighties of last century, still standing and with daily use.
• Carrying out structural design with site supervision for reconstruction and renovation of many damaged buildings during the year 1991.
• Train numbers of junior engineers by involving them directly in the structural design of many multi-story buildings.
• Worked as a structural engineering consultant for a number of engineering bureaus inside Iraq and abroad.
