The Department of Civil Engineering at Al-Mansour University College organized an in-person lecture titled "The Cumulative Impact of High Temperatures and High Traffic Loads on the Performance of Asphalt Layers." The lecture was presented by Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Jalil, a member of the Iraqi Engineers Union Conference.

The lecture addressed the most prominent challenges facing road infrastructure under high temperatures and heavy traffic loads. Dr. Jalil also reviewed applied engineering models and practical solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of asphalt mixtures, improving their performance, and extending their service life.

The session was introduced by the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Assist.Prof.Dr..Adil Nuhear Abed , and attended by the Dean of the College, Assistance Professor Sabah Kallow, and the Scientific Associate, Abdul Satar Shaker. They emphasized the importance of organizing such scientific events in honing students' skills and broadening their understanding in the field of road and materials engineering.

This lecture was part of the department's ongoing series of scientific activities aimed at strengthening practical applications and linking theoretical knowledge with practical reality in modern infrastructure projects.

The lecture concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation, as the participants were honored by the Dean of Al-Mansour University College.
