A Scientific Twinning Between Al-Mansour University College and Al-Nahrain University: An Engineering Partnership Shaping a Generation that Builds the Future

In a pioneering step that reflects Al-Mansour University College's commitment to expanding its academic presence and building bridges of cooperation with prestigious Iraqi universities, a scientific twinning agreement has been activated between the Department of Civil Engineering at Al-Mansour University College and the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University.

This agreement was finalized during an official meeting hosted by Al-Nahrain University, attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, and the Public Relations Officer at Al-Nahrain University. Representing Al-Mansour University College, and on behalf of the College Dean, the agreement was signed by the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Assist.Prof.Dr..Adil Nuhear Abed.

This twinning is a significant milestone in Al-Mansour's strategy to enhance the integration of academic and research expertise. It aims to launch joint programs including workshops, scientific symposiums, shared supervision of graduation projects and applied research, as well as mutual academic visits between the students and faculty of both colleges.

This cooperation stems from Al-Mansour University College's vision to embody the principle of academic twinning as a tool for cognitive development and institutional integration, contributing to building an interactive educational environment that supports engineering innovation and enhances applied thinking among students.

During the signing, both parties affirmed that this agreement represents a genuine scientific alliance between two esteemed institutions striving to develop engineering education in Iraq and elevate it to the level of regional and global universities by linking academic research with the practical needs of the construction and reconstruction sector.

This twinning embodies Al-Mansour's enduring principle that knowledge is built not within the confines of lecture halls, but in the expanse of partnerships and shared experiences. This step serves as a new bridge toward advanced engineering education based on quality, application, and sustainable innovation.

Through this agreement, Al-Mansour University College confirms that it is moving confidently toward expanding its cooperation network with national and international universities, keeping one goal in sight: making the Iraqi student the focus of all development and the objective of every achievement.
