The Department of Computer Engineering was established to cope with the tremendous development that has taken place in the computer and software industry. The department receives the preparatory certificate (scientific, applied and biomedical branch) according to the central admission system of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering is granted to the graduate after completing (4) four years of study and two semesters per year. Courses include mandatory and optional courses. Studying in the department qualifies the graduate to work in research, production, industrial and electronic governance institutions in terms of software, operating systems, electronic design, information technology applications and networks. The graduate will also be familiar with the design and manufacturing of computers, microprocessor, automation, control and self-control units, as well as possessing a solid scientific and knowledge base to enable him to pursue his higher academic studies.
